Dylan and White rock Nashville

Bob Dylan invited White Stripe Jack White on stage on two separate nights last week during the legend’s shows at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Last Wednesday (19 September) Mr White was invited on stage to play alongside the ex Mr Zimmerman on Meet Me in the Morning. On the Thursday he was asked on stage again, this time to allow him to play two songs Dylan songs that the White Stripes have previously covered, Outlaw Blues and One More Cup of Coffee.

Apparently, White announced to the audience, in obvious glee, "I've got three fathers - my biological dad, God and Bob Dylan."

Meanwhile, The White Stripes are taking a break from live shows while drummer Meg White recovers from nervous exhaustion.
