Jana Kramer's marriage could be heading for big trouble after the singer confessed her fears that husband Mike Caussin will cheat on her again are "weakening" her.
The couple is currently dealing with the drama of a topless photo, which was anonymously texted to the retired sportsman last weekend (05Oct19).
Caussin deleted the picture but Kramer found it, prompting a very tense face off during her weekly Whine Down podcast last Sunday.
She has since discovered the photo came from a bot - software that runs automated tasks online - and she appeared to have accepted that her husband was in no way to blame.
"I totally get why he would delete it and not tell me," she said. "I get that thought process 100 per cent, it is just that the toll that the trauma takes... I don't know how much I have left of that to cry out any more."
Mike, a recovering sex addict, added that the pair are doing their best to move on from their latest bump in the road, but he is struggling with being "the bad guy" all the time.
"Last night, I couldn't sleep because I'm tired of feeling like the bad guy and it is because of my shame."
And, in a teaser for this Sunday's podcast, the Whiskey singer admits she's struggling with her husband's sex addiction.
"I told Michael the other day..., 'I don’t believe that there won’t be another time, and that sucks to have to feel that, because how can I believe that when I’ve heard so many times, 'I’ll never do it again. I’ll never do it again'," she says. "It kinda puts me in this really awkward situation, and it makes me look weak to be continuing to stick around whether he did something or he didn’t. And I believe that he didn’t. Like, I know it wasn’t a real person (this time), I know all those things. But it doesn’t matter.
"I'm not saying it’s weak to stay, I’m not saying it’s weak to leave. I’m just saying for me personally and where I’m at and how many times... It’s weakening me by staying."
The couple separated in 2017 after Caussin confessed to cheating on his wife. They reconciled last year and have since had a second child.
