Alex Rodriguez isn't feeling his best after fiancee Jennifer Lopez's wild 50th birthday bash.
The former American baseball player took to Instagram on Friday, two days after the star-studded extravaganza in Miami, and told his followers he was in pain after partying a little too hard.
"I am so sore from one night of dancing, I don't know how Jennifer does it!" the 43-year-old captioned a video of him explaining his injuries. "Who else hates getting old?!"
"Jennifer's done 28 shows in about 58 days, she has two more here domestically in Miami," Rodriguez told the camera. "For her birthday, it was a big one, it was 50, I danced for about an hour and seven minutes... I couldn't get out of my bed tonight."
He revealed that he had "iced, done cryo, got stretched, got a massage, steamed" and even spent some time in a sauna since the party at Gloria Estefan's lavish Miami estate finally finished, but the former sportsman is still in agony.
"I've been drinking coffee all day," he continued. "I'm a mess. She went out there (onstage) and destroyed it in Miami (on Thursday night). Killed it. Like if she slept 10 hours.
"Am I the only one that can't recover anymore?" he joked. "Does it suck to get old or what?"
According to reports, the epic bash kicked off on Wednesday at around 7pm, with Lopez and Rodriguez arriving at 9.30pm. They danced to performances from DJ Khaled, Fat Joe and Ashanti, before leaving the party at around 2.30am.
"It’s been a birthday to remember. I can truly feel the love from all of you. Yesterday was a dream," Lopez shared on Instagram.
