Miley Cyrus has shared her support for Lil Nas X after the star came out as gay.
The 20-year-old rapper marked the end of Pride Month on Sunday by encouraging fans on Twitter to "listen closely" to the lyrics of his new song C7osure (You Like).
In the track, taken from his new EP 7, Nas - real name Montero Lamar Hill - raps: "True say, I want and I need/ To let go, use my time to be free/ It's like it's always what you like" and "Ain't no more actin', man that forecast say I should just let me grow/No more red light for me baby, only green, I gotta go/Pack my past up in the back, oh, let my future take ahold/This is what I gotta do, can't be regrettin' when I'm old."
In another post, the star shared the cover artwork for the release, alongside another image zoomed in on one of the buildings in the snap, which featured rainbow-coloured lights.
"Deada*s thought i made it obvious," he captioned the picture.
And after he opened up to fans, Miley, whose father Billy Ray Cyrus teamed up with the rapper for the smash hit Old Town Road, took to social media to show love and support for the star.
"SO proud of my baby brother @lilnasx," she wrote with heart and rainbow emojis. "In your corner forever my friend!"
Miley, Nas and Billy Ray teamed up for a superstar collaboration during the We Can't Stop singer's set at Glastonbury on Sunday (30Jun19). After the 26-year-old performed her track Party In The USA, she was joined on stage by the hitmaking duo, for a rendition of Old Town Road and Nas' hit Panini.
Record executive and producer Irv Gotti also spoke out in support of the star, telling TMZ.com: "If it was 20 or 30 years ago, it would be a shocker. (But in) 2019 - just be whoever you are."
