Beyonce caused a Twitter storm on Wednesday when cameras caught her flashing an unimpressed look at a woman talking to her husband JAY-Z during their date night.
The superstar couple were courtside to watch the Golden State Warriors take on the Toronto Raptors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
As they watched the action on court, a woman sitting next to the couple leaned across Beyonce to chat to the rapper, leading to the mother-of-three flashing her a scathing look.
A video of the moment was shared on Twitter by sports network ESPN, with the Formation hitmaker's dedicated fans quick to comment on the clip.
"I would leave the earth (sic) if Beyonce looked this ready to smack me," one person wrote. Another referenced Beyonce's infamous lyric about "Becky with the good hair" from her track Sorry - believed to be about the woman JAY allegedly cheated on her with - tweeting: "What the f**k were you trying to ask him? The f**k was so important Becky??????? WHAT WAS THE REASON!"
Others commented with the bee emoji - Beyonce's fans are known as the Beyhive.
However, while many assumed the woman was just an ardent admirer of the rapper's, she was later identified as Nicole Curran - the wife of Golden State Warriors' owner Joe Lacob. Lacob was sitting the other side of his wife to Beyonce and JAY.
Even the celebrity support wasn't enough to help the Golden State Warriors storm to victory - they lost to the Toronto Raptors 123 to 109.
