Adele has broken her silence after her split from husband Simon Konecki by sharing a hilarious meme of herself.
The Hello hitmaker's representatives announced the end of the singer's marriage on 19 April (19), amid reports suggesting the couple had quietly parted ways months earlier.
Adele hadn't commented publicly on the relationship breakdown, but decided to check in with her fans on Instagram on Wednesday by poking fun at herself.
The meme the singer shared featured two Adele pictures side-by-side; one in which she was in tears and one which showed her looking confident while pointing her finger at the camera.
While the 30-year-old didn't caption the snap herself, the meme featured the words: "When you catch yourself in your feelings then remember who you are."
The Rolling In The Deep star is said to already be moving on from the failed marriage, after she was reportedly spotted sharing a kiss with a new guy in New York City.
"Adele is a strong woman and is determined to get on with her life, like any normal person who is getting over a marriage breakup," a source told The Sun.
"She has developed a real soft spot for American guys since living in L.A. and had a kiss with a very handsome gentleman in a New York bar. He had a big beard like Simon, but it was tidier and more groomed."
However, the Brit isn't planning to rush into another relationship so soon after separating from Simon, with the insider adding that Adele's "main focus" is Angelo, the six-year-old son she shares with her ex.
Adele and Simon secretly tied the knot in 2016 after five years of dating.
