Deedee Walker is a talented vocalist and performer poised to break into the UK’s music scene. A natural performer, Walker has been flexing her vocal cords since she was seven years old, her passion for music evident throughout her school years as she sang at public concerts and participated in competitions, reaching the semi finals of Open Mic UK.
Since writing her first songs as a teenager, Deedee has performed at a host of exciting venues across London, gradually building a devoted fan base that respond to her soulful vocals and magnetic personality. She’s performed at ILUVLIVE, Acoustic UK and the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Bar, in addition to being featured on Reload Sessions with an electric cover version of Naughty Boy and Beyonce’s “Runnin’” that reached 1000+ YouTube views in a matter of hours and led to a single deal.
Summer 2018 has seen this gifted young artist take to the studio, writing and recording her own expressive compositions that fervently blend pop, soul and RnB and take influence from legends such as Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Michael Jackson.
With her debut EP still in the works, Deedee has recently shared the feel-good single “Yes Girl”, while follow-up single “Don’t Lie” will be released on 28th September.
These uplifting tracks, built around emotive vocal melodies and polished production, announce the arrival of a promising new talent to the UK’s pop scene.
