Drake celebrated his 32nd birthday in style by throwing a 2000s-themed party.

The In My Feelings rapper turned 32 on Wednesday (24Oct18) but he threw the nostalgic bash the night before at Goya Studios in Hollywood with celebrity friends including Chris Brown, Swizz Beatz, French Montana and Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

For the event, Drake dressed up as Fabolous, replicating the look he wore in his music video to 2002 Trade It All, complete with a blue Los Angeles jersey over the top of a white T-shirt, gold chains and a blue cap with a bandana tied around it.

Fabolous approved of the look, sharing a still from his video besides a picture of Drake's costume, and writing, "Ready to trade it all. Nailed the look for the 2000s Party! Scorpio Season. Happy Birthday my brother."

The God's Plan star then had a costume change, switching to a dark blue velour tracksuit from Diddy's clothing line Sean John, with a white headband, white sneakers, and a flip phone accessory.

The decor of the bash also reflected the theme, with "Sandra's Room", named after his mother, which featured flowers and throwback pictures of Drake, a wall made to look like it was from the Blockbuster Video rental store, a 7-Eleven section selling snacks and Slurpees, and cars from the classic MTV show Pimp My Ride.

To top it off, Drake's birthday cake was styled on retro cell phone the Motorola Timeport, and the rapper occasionally got behind the DJ decks to play his favourite throwback tracks, as did Swizz.

Drake shared a series of snaps from the party on Instagram on Wednesday and wrote in one caption, "Thank you to all my friends for last night. Eternal love."
