Chrissy Teigen is launching a new kitchenware line with American department store Target.

The model-turned-TV-presenter has forged a successful career in the food sector following the release of her first cookbook, Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat, in 2016, the follow-up of which launches next week (begs17Sep18).

On Thursday (13Sep18), Chrissy excitedly revealed she has now teamed up with the giant retailer to bring out a collection of kitchenware and tabletop products, due to hit stores on 30 September.

Chrissy x Target will feature 40 products including a cast iron Dutch oven, cutlery, glassware, pitchers and a 12-piece cookware set, with prices ranging from $4 (£3) to $140 (£107).

Sharing her excitement on Twitter and Instagram, the 32-year-old gushed: "I’M IN TARGET!!!! My new #CHRISSYxTARGET collection will be avail exclusively at @Target starting 9/30!!!! I truly can’t believe any of this is happening and can’t wait for you all to see it."

She later added: "I’ve never been so nervous excited in my life. I cannot believe I can finally say this is happening!!! Thank you for welcoming me and my entire family, @target fam!!!"

It marks the latest in a string of collaborations between Target and the mum-of-two, who began modelling in the retailer's catalogues as a child and later starred in the brand's 2016 holiday campaign.

According to Target's website, Chrissy's two-year-old daughter Luna, who she shares with singer husband John Legend, is also a "once-a-week Target shopper," while the couple's four-month-old son Miles is "yet to go on his first Target adventure".

“We have a great relationship with Chrissy," Target's executive vice president Mark Tritton shared in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter. "When we learned she was launching her own kitchen and tabletop line, we both knew it would be right at home at Target."

It's shaping up to be a successful week for Chrissy and her family after John became the first black male to achieve EGOT status following his win at the 2018 Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday.

Chrissy's latest cookbook, Cravings: Hungry for More, is due to hit bookshelves on 18 September.
