G-Eazy broke down onstage after dedicating a song to late star Mac Miller.

The MC, real name Malcolm James McCormick, tragically died at the age of 26 on Friday (07Sep18) after an apparent drug overdose.

And G-Eazy became emotional as he performed his track Everything Will Be OK in honour of his friend during his gig at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Florida.

"I swear, life is so f**king fragile," he said, as a giant photo of Miller filled the screen behind him. "Appreciate the moment. Be present in it. Tell people you love you care about them."

G-Eazy later posted about the heartbreaking performance on Instagram.

“Performed everything will be ok for you tonight and f**kin broke down on stage. Rest peacefully bro, we miss you," he captioned a shot of him performing onstage.

His girlfriend, singer Halsey, also shared a tribute to Miller on social media.

"Today is a bad dream. Thank you Mac. For being a visionary. A smiling, laughing, kindhearted individual. Thank you for being the soundtrack to my high school years," she wrote.

Thanking the late rapper for being "such a good friend" to G-Eazy, Halsey added: "Check on your friends. Please. Call them. Tell them you love them. Be a resource that comes with no judgment. Let your friends unfold without feeling like they are burdening you. Rest easy, Mac. We love you so so so very much."

G-Eazy's emotional onstage tribute comes as Miller's ex-girlfriend, Ariana Grande, disabled comments on her Instagram posts following hurtful messages from upset fans.

They broke up in May after nearly two years of dating. Ariana, who i engaged to Pete Davidson, has not yet commented on his death.
