Drake finally accepted the In My Feelings dance challenge when he dropped the song's music video on Thursday (02Aug18).

The Scorpion album track has reigned at number one in the global charts for the last three weeks and has become a worldwide phenomenon thanks, in part, to a viral dance challenge created for the song by social media personality and comedian Shoker, or Shiggy on Instagram.

The music video sees Drake acting out parts of the famous dance sequence himself, which characteristically includes a number of perfectly timed moves performed alongside a moving car, and pursuing a romance with his love interest Keke, played by Power actress La La Anthony. Directed by Karena Evans, who also helmed the God's Plan and Nice For What music videos, it has garnered nearly four million views in less than 24 hours.

Set in New Orleans, the eight-minute video begins with the Hotline Bling singer professing his love for Keke on the front lawn of her house before being told to leave by her mother, whose comical role is played by The Cosby Show actress Phylicia Rashad.

The man behind the meme also makes an appearance as Drake awakes at the end of the song believing it had all been a dream. Posing as the star's personal assistant, Shiggy arrives at the star's trailer and tries to chivvy him in a hilarious sketch about timing.

The video concludes with a montage of fans and celebrities alike taking part in the dance challenge, including Millie Bobby Brown, DJ Khaled and Will Smith, the latter of which scaled the famous Chain Bridge in Budapest, Hungary, to take part in the challenge.

Earlier this month, Shiggy and Drake met for the first time on the same night that In My Feelings hit number one, with the Canadian rapper thanking the funnyman for his role in the song's success.

Over half a million clips of people attempting the #InMyFeelingsChallenge have been posted on Instagram since Shoker shared a video of himself dancing in the street - or "doing the shiggy" - to the catchy track on 29 June.
