Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have sealed their romance with matching tattoos.

The newly-engaged couple, who have been enjoying a whirlwind romance, have taken the next step in their relationship, by getting matching tattoos on their hands that read "H2GKMO", which means "honest to God, knock me out."

And the phrase will be familiar to fans of the One Last Time singer, who adopted it after she once tweeted it.

Ariana, 24, who began dating the Saturday Night Live comic last month (May18) after splitting from rapper Mac Miller, revealed the no-frills tattoo in a video she posted on her Instagram story.

The couple, who quickly went Instagram official, became engaged in a few short weeks after Pete popped the question to Ariana with a $100,000 (£76,000) pear-shaped diamond ring.

The inking is not the first Ariana-related marker for the 24-year-old comic, who added two tattoos dedicated to the Bang Bang singer earlier this month.

Pete has a black bunny ear mask - similar to the one worn by his fiancee on her Dangerous Woman album cover - behind his ear, and a second tattoo of Ariana's initials on his hand.

Meanwhile, Ariana has shown her love for her husband-to-be by including a tribute to him on her new album Sweetener.

The tune, which she teased online and confirmed was simply named Pete, drew some negative comments from followers, with one remarking, "Girl we know you love him but are you dumb".

However, she brushed off the negative responses and opened up about her newfound approach to life in a response to one fan.

"The truth is i been the f**k thru it and life's too short to be cryptic n s**t about something as beautiful as this love I'm in (sic)," she added. "so (Pete) it is."

Ariana's message appeared to reference the heartache she suffered last year, when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device towards the end of her show at England's Manchester Arena, which killed 22 people and left more than 100 injured.
