Today, Cassia announce a new UK headline tour for October 2018, including dates at The Garage, London and O2 Ritz Manchester.

The Northern three-piece, who recently signed to Distiller Records, have built a cult following in the last few years, playing countless headline shows to sold out crowds across the UK and Europe. With just a handful of tracks released so far, the band have already amassed a staggering 3 million Spotify streams based purely on word of mouth and a stellar reputation across the live circuit, garnering early support from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and Greg James.

Speaking about the headline tour, the band say: "We're itching to get back on the road again after a short while in the studio. There's sure to be a few new tunes thrown in there so we can't wait to show people what we've been up to!"

Cassia draw on a wildly eclectic range of influences; everything comes into play, from contemporary indie like Bombay Bicycle Club and Glass Animals, to traditional jazz and neo-soul, to the Afrobeat sounds of Fela Kuti and Ebo Taylor. The band’s hunger to embrace and educate themselves on the history and music of other cultures culminates in a diverse, celebratory sound that is hugely refreshing in the current indie landscape, with an irresistibly danceable live show to boot. The coming year will see the trio continue to rinse the European tour circuit, with more new music to come….
