Justin Timberlake revealed he once hooked up with a member of the Spice Girls as he took part in a game of Never Have I Ever on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday (01May18).
The 37-year-old singer, who is now married to actress Jessica Biel, was joined by his *NSYNC bandmates for an interview on the U.S. talk show, during which host Ellen couldn't resist introducing some fun via the hilarious game.
One of the statements, to which Justin and his former singing pals could either respond "I have" or "I have never", was "Never have I ever hooked up with a Spice Girl."
And while the boys were quick to keep their paddles as reading "I have never", Justin led to gasps from the audience as he hesitantly turned his to reveal he had, in fact, enjoyed a dalliance with one member of the 90s girl group back in the day.
Justin didn't go into details as to which member of the five-piece his encounter had been with, and looked embarrassed as Ellen quickly moved the game on.
Both *NSYNC and the Spice Girls enjoyed fame at similar times, with Victoria Beckham revealing during an interview on The Late Late Show with James Corden last year (17) that they had first met at an airport in Germany.
"When we were in the Spice Girls, we were in Germany doing some roadshow and we were sitting there, in an airport, five girls altogether, and then some guy comes up and he says, 'Hey I’m in a band, I got my friends, can we come and sing for you?'," Victoria recalled. "So we’re all sitting there, glasses on inside the airport like you do, five girls all sitting there: 'Yeah, you can come and sing to us!'
"They stood there and they could sing. And it was *NSYNC and that was Justin Timberlake. ‘But they shut us up ’cause they were good."
