Tommy Lee is reportedly pursuing legal action against his son Brandon Lee after their brawl.

The former Motley Crue rocker was hospitalised after getting knocked out by his 21-year-old son during a heated argument at his home on Monday night (05Mar18).

And according to PageSix.com, Tommy is moving forward with a battery claim against Brandon in an effort to teach his son a lesson.

A source told the website: "He is not going to tolerate what Brandon did and that's why he wants the criminal case to keep moving along... at least for now."

Brandon's mum, Pamela Anderson, weighed in on the drama on Thursday by issuing a statement in which she claimed that Tommy suffers from "the disease of alcoholism". She also accused her ex-partner of being drunk at the time of the incident and insisted that their son was acting in self-defence.

Tommy, who has battled alcohol problems in the past, has admitted that he had been drinking prior to the altercation.

The fight is believed to be sparked by the drummer's social media posts about Pamela following her comments about her alleged abuse at the hands of the rocker in a recent Piers Morgan interview.

Brittany Furlan, who became engaged to Tommy last month (Feb18), called emergency services for assistance after the brawl, and told operators her unconscious fiance was "totally out like a light".

Brandon has since hired an attorney following reports Tommy is seeking to press charges and take out a restraining order against him.

Editors at TMZ reported earlier this week that the 55-year-old musician was going to withdraw his police report but decided to pursue criminal charges and a restraining order against Brandon only after his son refused to apologise.
