Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are reportedly "giving their love a second chance".
The Swish Swish singer and the Hollywood heartthrob announced their split in February, 2017 - after just over a year together. However, following weeks of reconciliation rumours, Katy and Orlando were pictured spending time together in Prague on Wednesday (28Feb18), appearing to confirm they are giving their relationship another go.
And, following the release of the images, a source close to the pair told Entertainment Tonight that the couple are attempting to spend some time away from the public eye in a bid to make their rekindled relationship as strong as possible.
"The time they spend together alone is a way for them to build a new healthy relationship that is not under the eyes of their fans and the world," the source explained. "They both live very busy lives and have carefully made a plan to give their love a second chance."
The insider added that Katy has been doing her utmost to keep her romance with Orlando out of the spotlight, so much so that she didn't invite him to her brother David's wedding last month (Feb18).
"She knew they would be photographed at a public event and therefore would be under a microscope again," the source said. "They want to avoid having to answer questions about their relationship.
"(Keeping things private) is part of rekindling what they had, but in a much healthier way."
Following their split, Katy and Orlando remained on friendly terms - attending events together and even spending Labor Day together last September. And while Orlando is said to have been keen for a second chance at the relationship soon after their initial split, Katy apparently spent longer working on herself to ensure she was truly ready to reboot the romance.
"Orlando was begging (for) her back, soon after the breakup," the source added. "Katy knew she was in no way ready, but they continued to talk regularly. They were best friends at the very least.
"Katy was so depressed when they broke up, even though it was mutual. She was truly devastated... She did a lot of soul searching and feels she is ready for a relationship."
