Music-News.com is proud to host the exclusive world premiere of Christmas Telly from UK indie-pop band Ghost Station.

Ghost Station are back with their super-infectious ode to festive traditions and new single Christmas Telly. With lyrics celebrating the more mundane and fuzzier, alcohol-fuelled moments of the holidays and McCartney-esque melodies, the track is sure to be a favourite in December.

“New Christmas songs are few and far between these days, but look back through music history and you’ll see that some of the biggest names in rock n roll weren’t shy about getting festive at this time of the year,” explains frontman and songwriter Matt Phillips. “Lennon, McCartney, Elvis, Elton, Cliff, Springsteen, Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers - they’ve all featured at the top end of the Christmas chart over the years…and if it’s good enough for them, then it’s good enough for Ghost Station!”

Led by Phillips sublime songwriting skills (honed over almost two decades in music), Ghost Station could easily be described as a British Weezer or a 21st century update of The La’s sunny indie-pop. Recent single Cast Away picked up radio airplay with over 30 stations, and their singles have seen The Sun hailing their “catchy melodies and jangly guitars” and interview coverage from Gigslutz, Vents Magazine and Music Muso.
