Kesha's new album Rainbow has leaked online days before its official release.
The Tik Tok hitmaker is set to debut the record on Friday (11Aug17), but on Wednesday (09Aug17) it appeared online.
Kesha has not commented on the leak, but visited U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America and revealed the album has inspired her to incorporate rainbows into her everyday life, because they have been such a source of strength for her amid her ongoing court battle with former mentor Dr. Luke.
"I think colour symbolises hope and a rainbow, it's no coincidence that it is also a symbol for the LGBTQ community," she said. "I've always just found hope in bright colours and I wanted to bring that more into my everyday life. So now my house is covered in rainbows. My life and my body, I have, like, 10 rainbow tattoos..."
Kesha's new music is her most personal to date and she confessed her new single, Praying, helped her navigate the tough times in the past two years as her legal battle with producer Dr. Luke rumbled on. She has accused him of sexually and mentally abusing her throughout their working relationship and he has vehemently denied the allegations.
"It's so personal, I've written every song on this album, it's so personal and this song, I think, is just really important because it talks about me personally going through something very hard, lots of hard things, making it through, not giving up, and finding empathy on the other side, which is incredibly hard sometimes," she tearfully added.
