Dance superstar Diplo has made light of his bedroom technique after Katy Perry ranked him as her third best lover behind John Mayer and Orlando Bloom.
The Roar hitmaker was quizzed about her sex life as part of a revealing chat with British comedian and U.S. talk show host James Corden on Sunday (11Jun17), which took place during a weekend-long (09-11Jun17) live-streaming event to promote her new album Witness.
"From best to worst in bed, working on the notion that they're all good, rank John Mayer, Diplo and Orlando Bloom," Corden said, before quipping, "Diplo's in third, we know that... I'm not being bad, it's just the other two are clearly exceptional!"
An embarrassed Katy loudly protested the task, declaring, "They are all amazing lovers and I would have sex with all of them after I get out of this place!"
However, she eventually agreed DJ Diplo, who she was briefly linked to in 2014, would come third, with British actor Orlando at number two, and rocker John taking first place.
Diplo appears to have since responded to the unexpected criticism in a pair of posts on Twitter.
"I don't even remember having sex," the 38-year-old initially wrote, seemingly referring to his dalliance with Katy.
He then poked fun at the whole situation, joking, "I won the bronze medal in sex Olympics."
Katy and Diplo first stepped out together in April, 2014, shortly after the pop star's first split from Mayer. The producer even joined the singer and her pals on a birthday vacation in Paris, France and Marrakesh, Morocco that October (14) to help her celebrate turning 30.
