Ed Sheeran looks set to extend his lead at the top of the Official Singles Chart this week, while a number of tracks are on course to enter the Top 10 for the first time.

Sheeran’s Shape Of You is looking likely to lead the Top 40 for a fifth consecutive week, with 2.57 million streams and 22,000 downloads already logged at the halfway stage. Castle On The Hill remains close behind in second place.

Meanwhile, Stormzy’s brand new track Big For Your Boots is on course to claim this week’s highest new entry, currently at Number 8. The song serves as the trailer single for the British grime MC’s debut studio album Gang Signs & Prayer, which is out on February 24.

Stormzy last reached the Top 10 with 2015’s Shut Up, peaking at Number 8 after a he launched a bid for the Christmas Number 1.

Two more songs are set to enter the Top 10 for the first time this Friday: Dua Lipa’s Be The One climbs two spots to 9 and could earn the rising star her highest charting track to date, while Zayn & Taylor Swift’s I Don’t Wanna Live Forever lifts three places to 10.

Further down, Train are on track to land their first Top 40 in five years with Play That Song, up 26 places to 21, Imagine Dragons’ new single Believer opens at 32, and Ariana Grande and John Legend’s Beauty and the Beast, taken from the upcoming Disney reboot, is currently at 37.
