Adele is reportedly planning a down to earth wedding knees-up complete with a bangers and mash supper.

The Hello singer may be worth a reported £92 million, but she has no plans for a lavish do. Rumour has it the 28-year-old singer will tie the knot with beau Simon Konecki at Christmas in Los Angeles.

According to Heat magazine, sources close to the star claim the singer has been joking that she's happy to be "a budget bride", and that despite her immense wealth she doesn't want a “stuffy” do.

"Adele said she doesn't want her wedding to be formal and show-offy. She wants it to be about who they are as a couple,” a source close to the Rolling in the Deep star told the publication. “Adele would happily have a small ceremony, then dish out the bangers and mash afterwards. She's not tight - she's happy to pay for everyone to have a great day - she just doesn't want it to be stuffy."

Adele has four-year-old son Angelo with 42-year-old charity boss Simon, who also has a daughter, aged nine, from a previous relationship. The couple reportedly became engaged in October (16) after five years together and recently moved to a new £6 million mansion in Beverly Hills. And the British born star is reportedly planning ceremonies in London and the American city where she has made her home.

"Adele is still on tour, so she would be happy with a simple knees-up with her closest friends," the insider added. "After the LA wedding, she'll have a gathering back at home, so no one feels left out. It won't be star-studded either. She will invite all her old mates she grew up with, as well as old mates Alan Carr and Sid Owen, too. She doesn't really drink, but there will be plenty of booze on tap for her guests to make sure they enjoy themselves."

And as for the all-important wedding dress, Adele has allegedly been inspired by reality show Say Yes to the Dress, which she's been bingeing on while on tour.

"She's promised Simon she won't go full on Bridezilla, but she wants to get the right frock for her big day,” confided the insider. "She's considering a splash of colour, but it will still be traditional."

For her tour look, the singer has stuck to a custom made Christopher Bailey-designed Burberry gown.
