Lily Allen is reportedly looking to rebuild her pop career after splitting from her grime MC boyfriend Daniel London.
The Smile singer, who is estranged from her husband Sam Cooper, had been dating the MC, better known as Meridian Dan, for several months.
Their relationship was revealed in June after legal papers obtained by The Sun, during the prosecution of a man accused of stalking the singer, revealed Lily was in bed with Daniel at the time Alex Gray broke into her flat in October (15). It followed intense speculation about the status of Lily’s marital relationship.
The break up followed a turbulent period during which the couple reportedly had a series of “toxic fights”.
According to Heat magazine Lily has told friends she ended the relationship because of Daniel’s reluctance to commit.
“Lily doesn’t think they’ll stay friends – he has pretty much moved on already,” a source told Heat.
Mum-of-two Lily appeared to be enjoying a party lifestyle again while she was dating the grime MC.
In August The Fear singer dramatically collapsed after a very public drinking and smoking binge raising fears over her health.
The 31-year-old vomited and had to be carried off unconscious after slumping to the ground. Now it seems she’s ready to put her partying and Daniel behind her.
“She’s done with the rebelling. She needs time to rebuild, focus on writing and a possible career comeback,” the source added.
