Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong has slammed the next President of the United States of America for his election reality TV scare campaign designed to manipulate people.
“The media treated this whole thing as a reality TV show because that’s the kind of person he is,” Billie Joe said. “That’s the kind of campaign he wanted to run. People got caught up in the game show aspect”.
Green Day wrote their song ‘American Idiot’ about George W. Bush but now thinks what the new Führer Heir Trumpf is doing is much worse. “The Republican Party has turned into a white nationalist party,” he said. “When people are uneducated they are not reading into the bigger issue. They want someone to blame if they don’t have a job”.
Billie Joe wasn’t exactly stoked with Obama either. “It is scary to think about, Barack Obama had compassion and the conservatives blocked him at every angle. I have my issues with Obama too but he is much better than Trump,” he said.
He liked Hillary but agrees she did not send a convincing message to the people of America. “She probably could have been a good President,” he said. “There were too many issues of her no revealing herself and there wasn’t enough transparency so people got caught up in her being a liar. Maybe she is, maybe she isn’t. There is a lot of confusion right now.
Trump came across as a babbling bully on the three debates with Mrs Clinton. He made cruel, racist remarks throughout the election and was revealed as stacking to system to get out of paying taxes … yet America voted for him.
