Craig David is to release this year’s official BBC Children in Need single, ‘All We Needed’, from his Number 1 album, ‘Following My Intuition’.

Sixteen years since his critically-acclaimed album, ‘Born To Do It’, changed his life, Craig has catapulted back into the charts, as well as the nation’s hearts, last week winning the prestigious MOBO award for Best Male Act, and is dedicating his next single to the Charity.

After revealing the news live on BBC Radio 2 this morning, Craig said: “This song is extremely personal to me, and I’m so proud that it’s the BBC Children in Need single this year.”

Showcasing his vulnerable and flawless vocal, All We Needed, a beautiful stripped back ballad, features on Craig’s latest album which recently reached the peak of the official album chart in the first week of its release.

The single is available to download now and Craig will give it its debut performance on the BBC’s Children in Need Appeal Show on Friday 18th November, BBC One.

The official BBC Children in Need single has a long history and, as the official artist behind this year’s, Craig joins a long line of celebrated performers including Jess Glynne, Gareth Malone’s All Star Choir, Ellie Goulding and Girls Aloud.

All profits from the single will go to the Charity, with a minimum of 50p from each sale.

BBC Children in Need which currently funds 2,400 projects supporting disadvantaged children and young people in communities across the UK.
