Forbes is at it again, this time with their annual list of the top earning female artists in music.

Technically, these are all female solo artists which leaves out people like Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie who were high on the list when groups were included.

Taylor Swift is, once again, number 1 with earnings of $170 million, mostly from her 1989 tour. As a matter of fact, almost all of the top earners received most of their money from touring and, for numbers 7 through 10, a good portion of that came from Las Vegas residencies.

Of course, there is number 2, Adele, who also had a lot of bills come in from her latest album, 25, which has been riding high on the charts since its release a year ago. Beyonce and Rihana also had major albums this year while Madonna did have a recent release which fell a little short on sales but did generate a bit of her income.

As far as veteran artists, three make the top ten with Madonna in the lead at number 3 with $76.5 million. Shania Twain and Celine Dion anchor the list with $27.5 and $27 million respectively.

The top ten:

Taylor Swift ($170 million)
Adele ($80.5 million)
Madonna ($76.5 million)
Rihanna ($75 million)
Beyonce ($54 million)
Katy Perry ($41 million)
Jennifer Lopez ($39.5 million)
Britney Spears ($30.5 million)
Shania Twain ($27.5 million)
Celine Dion ($27 million)

The chart is based on income from June 1, 2015 to June 1, 2016. Go to Forbes for more information.
