Bob Dylan has finally shared a few words about his Nobel Prize and by “a few” I mean literally a few.

“It’s hard to believe,” is what Dylan had to say about becoming the recipient of one of the most honourable awards on the planet.

Bob Dylan Theatre Downtown LA paintingIn his first interview in two years, Bob Dylan was talking to Edna Gundersen specifically to promote his art exhibition at the Halycon Gallery in London next week. Edna managed to squeeze an additional “amazing, incredible. Whoever dreams about something like that?” from Bob about the award.

Dylan also confirmed that he plans to personally accept the award later in Stockholm “if that’s at all possible”. When asked why it has taken him more than two weeks to comment he simply said: “well, I’m right here.”

The Bob Dylan The Beaten Path exhibition will be open from November 5 to December 11 at the Halycon Gallery, 144-146 Bond St, London.
