Former Spice Girls star Geri Horner is pregnant with her second child.

The baby will be the first for the British singer, formerly known as Geri Halliwell, and her husband, Red Bull Formula One team boss Christian Horner, who she wed last year (15).

The Wannabe hitmaker, 44, is already a mum to 10-year-old daughter Bluebell, from a previous romance with film producer Sacha Gervasi, while Christian also has a three-year-old daughter named Olivia from a prior relationship.

"They are absolutely delighted to announce they are expecting their first child together," reads a statement issued by Geri's representative to The Sun. "The couple is overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family.

Geri hinted at her big news in a cryptic post on social media on Monday (10Oct16), when she shared a photo of a handwritten note, which read, "God bless Mother Nature", a line from her 2001 single It's Raining Men. She signed it, "#mamaspice".

The star's baby news comes just months after she reunited with her old bandmates Melanie Brown and Emma Bunton and announced plans to reform as a trio, dubbed GEM. It is not yet known how the new group will launch its pop comeback now Geri is pregnant.

The singer went public with her romance with Horner in March, 2014 and they became engaged that November (14). They exchanged vows in Woburn, England in May, 2015, in front of family and friends, including her former bandmates Mel B and Bunton.

Geri previously gushed about life as Mrs. Horner, saying, "My husband is my best friend. He knows me inside out, I don't edit myself with him. It was a big learning curve."

Months after they walked down the aisle, Geri admitted they were eager to expand their family, although she was leaving it all up to fate.

"If it happens it happens and that will be amazing," she continued. "But we are already blessed with two girls.

"We might think about adoption but to be honest, we know we are so lucky and so happy with things as they are, you have to realise when not to push your luck."
