Kings of Leon dropped by the Absolute Radio studio this week to talk Pete Donaldson about their upcoming album. While they were there, Matthew revealed his mum hasn’t even heard the new record yet and has even resorted to tweeting KOL fans to see if they can help her sneak a listen.
When asked if they would like their children to form a band, Nathan was quick to say he hopes his daughter stays away from musicians- especially drummers. Finally, Matthew spoke about the current election race, saying he can’t predict which way the vote will go and that no one really knows what’s going on.
Matthew on his mum listening… My mum still hasn’t heard the record. She Tweeted the other day to some kids asking them if they knew how to download our new single.
Nathan on his daughter forming a band… Something tells me I want to keep my daughter as far away from bands as humanly possible. I dread the day when she’s like, “Daddy, I like the drummer.” I will be like- No, you don’t. You will be the Business Manager or the Attorney.
Matthew on American politics… Anyone that says they know what’s going on right now in America political-wise, they’re lying. I don’t even think the candidates themselves really know what’s going on. It’s going to come down to literally who gets the most votes. If I was in Vegas right now and I had to bet who’s going to win it, I seriously would just go for bust.
