Adele is reportedly taking a ten-year break from touring once her current trek ends.

The Hello singer began her Adele Live 2016 show, her first in five years, in February (16) and is due to complete the run in Arizona in November after more than a hundred shows.

According to The Sun newspaper, she is in no hurry to head back out on the road again and wants to take 10 years off from touring to focus on raising her three-year-old son Angelo.

“Angelo is the number one priority for Adele. He is the most important thing in her life," a source said. “She has brought him everywhere with her on tour but as he is starting school next year, he won’t be able to join her any more.

“Adele doesn’t want to miss a moment of Angelo growing up and it’s an easy decision for her to give up touring for him... Right now she is saying she won’t do another massive world tour like the current one for another 10 years."

Adele has bought a $7.8 million (£6 million) mansion in the Hollywood Hills, which boasts a swimming pool, an outdoor train set and a tree house. The family, including her partner Simon Konecki, were originally thought to be relocating there for around eight months, but it's believed the move will be more permanent as she has sold her townhouse in Brighton, England.

"I’m officially half a resident of LA. Half LA; half London. I’m in America for eight months," she told fans on tour. "I’m on tour and then I’m going to have Christmas in America. I haven’t done that before, I’m really excited."

According to The Sun, Adele would consider returning to live performing if she was offered a Las Vegas residency, like other singer mums Celine Dion, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez.
