The Great Escape today announces 29 acts for The Road To The Great Escape, a brand new live music showcase that takes place in Glasgow and Dublin during the days leading up to The Great Escape new music festival and conference in Brighton. Buy tickets below.

Artists making appearances at both locations include hotly tipped Glaswegian theatrical punks Walt Disco, Essex’s rising folk-country star Mabes, Blackpool experimental punks Strange Bones, and the enigmatic indie alternative guru Oscar Lang.
Glasgow’s King Tuts Wah Wah Hut on 9-10 May will see exclusive appearances from native indie pop sensations Somebody’s Child, local nu-folk talent Lizzie Reid, and refreshingly earnest London singer songwriter Matilda Mann. The line up so far includes:

More acts will be announced for The Road To The Great Escape in Dublin and Glasgow very soon.
The Great Escape will kick off the summer festival season from 13-16 May 2020 and play host to over 450 up-and-coming artists at more than 30 walkable venues in Brighton, England. This year’s spotlight artist is rising Manchester rapper Aitch, who will be appearing at the festival alongside the likes of Master Peace, Sassy 009, Chlobocop, Sons Of Raphael, Layfullstop and Wargasm. South Korea has also been announced as the lead partner country for next year’s TGE, with Balming Tiger being the first act from this region on the line-up. Further artists will be announced for The Great Escape line-up shortly.
