With one month to go, The Great Escape has today announced the festival’s full schedule which can be seen here, as well as 100+ more acts to play this year’s internationally renowned festival, including massive emerging artists such as Mount Kimbie (DJ set), Pumarosa, Rosie Lowe, King Nun, YAK + many more. The Great Escape, the festival for new music, will be kicking off festival season by playing host to over 450 up and coming artists and a music-led conference across 35 walkable venues from 8-11 May 2019 in Brighton, England. With acts still to be announced, there’s more to come for The Great Escape 2019! Tickets start from £75 and are on sale here, with tickets to The Late Escape on sale from today from £8 [free entry for The Great Escape wristband holders].
The Late Escape will play host to two huge late-night evenings at Brighton’s notorious beachfront club Patterns, filling the rooms with some of the world’s hottest electronic music. On Friday 10 May, Klub Kiwi presents Conducta, Mind of a Dragon, + more, whilst Insecurity presents Jess Ajose (DJ set), MX World, + more, tickets on sale here. On Saturday 11 May, Dummy presents Mount Kimbie (DJ set), PLOY, Object Blue + many more, tickets on sale here.
O2 Presents: DIY Academy, which takes place on Saturday 11 May, will also feature the massively successful YouTuber, author and influencer Alfie Deyes, who will present a special fireside chat with Sony Music’s Cassandra Gracey. Deyes has over 5 million subscribers on YouTube and over 10 million followers across his social platforms, and he will talk about his rise to fame over the last decade through a whole new strand of the entertainment industry.
