Ady Suleiman releases his new mixtape ‘Thoughts & Moments Vol. 1’ today. Recorded in Stockholm and with tracks produced by FAMILY_TIME, Maths Time Joy, Winta James and GRADES, the mixtape follows the release of Ady’s critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Memories’ in March last year.
A collection of songs which originated as voice memos on his phone, Ady comments, “‘Thoughts & Moments’ started because I didn't want to go straight into a full album, I wanted a bit of time to be more creative and more experimental. I wanted to make a project that was a bit more free. We moved from acoustic to electric, the guys put their flavours on and took it to a better space. I liked putting down the first things I thought of, and those usually became the song. I love the vibes
and interludes, that's how I started thinking of this project, a vibes projects. I wanted to do something that was really free and ‘Thoughts & Moments Vol 1' is the result.”
Already released is ‘Strange Roses’, a deeply soulful and emotive love song produced by GRADES (NAO/Dua Lipa). The track garnered huge global support including 17 ‘New Music Friday’ playlists on Spotify, over 80 ‘Best of the Week’ playlists on Apple Music and radio plays from both Phil Taggart and DJ Target. Also released is ‘Best Friend’, a breezy track, with Ady’s charming lyrics backed by a dynamic beat, combining to form a sound that is entirely unique but instantly recognisable. ‘Best Friend’ also has support from radio coming from Beats 1 and DJ Target.

Ahead of the release of ‘Thoughts and Moments Vol. 1’, Ady headed out on a full UK tour which saw him play sold out shows up and down the country before headlining Electric Brixton, London, on 21st March. He is currently in Europe where he is playing a string of dates including Amsterdam, Paris, Milan and Berlin.
With huge touring plans, lots of new music ready to release and Ady being the face of ‘Barbour Beacon’, the new sub-brand of the iconic brand, Barbour, 2019 is setting up to be his most exciting yet.
