Known for his chart-topping hit ‘Barking’, the singer surprised children in their music assembly at the school, they sang his song ‘Family Tree’ and Ramz spoke about his musical journey.

This was part of the Love Music Hate Racism Beautiful Resistance campaign which launched on the 8th March and aims to inspire, engage and empower people through a shared love of music. Throughout the campaign , world-leading artists have taken part in conversation pieces such as Ed Sheeran, Dave, Nile Rodgers and Anne-Marie. LMHR also ran educational workshops in schools and over 150 live music venues supported Love Music Hate Racism across the UK.

The children took part in a Q&A with Ramz and afterwards, LMHR campaigner Zak Cochrane spoke about the history and objectives of the campaign. This was followed by a talk from Leader of the Council Darren Rodwell around the importance of embracing diversity.
