The Dandy Warhols, who this year celebrate their 25th anniversary, have chosen alt-rock legends Swervedriver as special guests on their forthcoming date at the Brixton Academy on Friday February 1st.

The band release their 10th studio album “WHY YOU SO CRAZY” on January 25th (Dine Alone Records). “Why You So Crazy” sees The Dandy Warhols return in singularly freewheeling fashion, careening through classically off-kilter psych-pop a la the recent single “Be Alright” and high country-fried Americana with forthcoming single “Motor City Steel”. Packing in references as far flung as Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Don MacLean’s Chevy, and the church of Bowie’s ‘Modern Love,’ these 12 songs reflect the band’s surrealist visions of an alternate reality.

As well as the headlining Brixton Academy date, the band play Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester (dates below).
