Noise Pop Festival, San Francisco Bay Area’s premiere indie music and arts festival, is announcing today the latest round of performer additions including the final wave of headlining music acts confirmed for the 27th annual weeklong fest taking place February 25 – March 3, 2019. General Admission, Super Fan, and Super Fam badges are on sale now at www.noisepopfest.com. Individual tickets for the newly announced performers will be on sale Friday, January 11.

Previously announced acts include a mix of established and new, up-and-coming acts including Beirut, Bob Mould, Teenage Fanclub, Caroline Rose, Albert Hammond Jr, Jason Lytle, Baths, Princess Nokia, Petit Biscuit, Uffie, Tourist, Men I Trust and many more. Among today’s new additions are Malaysian singer-songwriter and crossover pop star Yuna, who is set to release a new album early this year, with Houston-based artist Nicotine making her Bay Area debut opening for her, and a special, intimate performance by musician, poet, activist, and actor Saul Williams, who is also gearing up to release a crowdfunded musical, Neptune Frost, as a follow-up to his 2016 critically acclaimed fifth studio album, MartyrLoserKing. Also new to the lineup are Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and previously one half of The Civil Wars, Joy Williams, as well as French rapper MHD, who has been making waves overseas and pioneering his own signature sound, "Afro Trap,” by blending Afrobeats and western trap music and who will headline The Independent on opening night on February, 25th.

Additional lineup announcements today include solo sets from Fruit Bats and Vetiver as well as four-piece psych-pop band Crumb, Montreal-based Anemone, Laura Veirs, Black Marble, Vagabon, Miserable, The She’s, In The Valley Below, Film School, Meg Mac, Ben Morrison of The Brothers Comatose, Slenderbodies, and more. There will be additional news to come announcing more Bay Area acts joining the lineup, but the artists released today include the final Noise Pop Fest 2019 headliners. Noise Pop also recently launched a contest in partnership with DoTheBay offering two lucky Bay Area musicians the opportunity to perform at the 2019 festival. Local music acts can submit their music for consideration at dothebay.com/p/play-noise-pop-festival-2019-contest. Public voting is open now, and fans can pick their favorites until 11:59PM on January 14th. The Noise Pop team will then choose two from the top ten to perform at this year’s fest and will announce the winners on January 23rd.

Noise Pop Festival takes some of the best venues across the SF Bay Area and collectively turns them into an attendee’s personal festival grounds with show locations ranging from Fox Theater to Bottom of the Hill. The week features countless music concerts, film screenings, art shows and happy hours throughout San Francisco, Oakland and across the East Bay, offering festival-goers the opportunity to experience some of today’s top and emerging artists while also exploring some of the Bay Area’s most historic and beloved venues. There are two options for attending the festival: buy a badge and get into every official Noise Pop Festival show and event OR pick and choose specific events by purchasing separate tickets to individual shows and events.

Festival badges are available for purchase today for $189. Those interested in attending are encouraged to act fast as badge prices will continue to go up as the festival dates approach. All badges grant access to all GA (non-seated) music concerts, badge-only happy hours, NPHQ and special events, which are soon to be announced. Badges are non-transferrable with age restrictions for some events, and badge-holders must arrive within 60 minutes after club door times to guarantee entrance. Additionally, badge-holders will have access to all film screenings and film-related events throughout the weeklong festival and will have the option of a specialized waitlist-service for sold-out music shows in case they were unable to purchase tickets in time.

A limited number of “Super Fan” badges are also available for purchase for $399, a price that will remain the same until they are sold out. An extremely limited amount of “Super Fam (+1)” badges, which for the first time will allow any Super Fam badge holder the freedom to switch out their +1s, are also still available for $850. Both “Super” badge-holders will experience VIP treatment at the festival, which includes guaranteed entry to all festival events (regardless of arrival time), a special merch package, complimentary drink tickets to select events, and a personal Noise Pop concierge available for assistance throughout the weeklong festival. For any badge-related questions, interested patrons should contact Noise Pop directly at badge@noisepop.com.
