Clean Cut Kid have announced their return with new single 'Emily' - debuted last night by Annie Mac on Radio 1 as her Hottest Record In The World - and upcoming EP Painkiller.
The upcoming EP was written, recorded and engineered entirely by the band in their native Liverpool, 'Emily' is the first new music from the band since their debut album Felt released last year, and veers more towards a lo-fi, American East sound. The new music was recorded in a pod in an old shipping container in the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool, where the band locked themselves away for months on end working on the new music.
The band will embark on an intimate tour of the UK to coincide with the release of EP. Tickets are on sale now and the band will play the following:
