Music News are happy to be giving away a copy of the limited edition vinyl of boerd’s new mini-album “Static” and two guest list tickets to boerd’s first show in London on the 14th of June at St Pancrais Church, Euston Road, London, NW1 2BA.

Following on from his work with Swedish label Comorbid Records, Stockholm native Bard Ericson aka boerd has joined the elite collective of forward-thinking producers at Anjunadeep to release his latest mini-album ‘Static’.

As a self-confessed introvert, boerd’s music aims to reflect his own personal emotions and atmosphere. With a soft, whisper-like approach to his work, his music looks to draw you in, allowing you to shut out the outside world and join him throughout his own space.

Speaking about ‘Static’, the producer explained, “’Forgängligt’ is a Swedish word that best translates to ‘transient’. For me, the songs on ‘Static’ are about this feeling - about relationships that never happened, about the ones that did happen but faded away, about both hard times and nice moments in my life that I’ve almost forgotten. Sometimes it feels like I’m stuck in a static blur of memories. The sounds and melodies in ‘Static’ makes the memories come alive a little bit, and I hope other people will have the same feeling.”
