Irish band Picture This – Jimmy Rainsford [drummer] and Ryan Hennessey [vocals, guitar] – released their self-titled album on 25th August on Island Records. The band weave together identifiable tales of love and life with upbeat melodies and immediately irresistible hooks.

The global smash ‘Take My Hand’ has set the stage for massive success. With its timeless narrative of eternal love, lush acoustic guitars, and bombastic build-up, the track is certified Gold in Ireland. It generated 2 million-plus Spotify streams and over 2.6 million YouTube views since its independent release. Last year the group’s independent self-titled EP enchanted audiences and they impressively sold over 45,000 tickets in the UK and Ireland. Kicking off 2017, the boys won the Choice music song of the year award and landed a deal with Island Records. Further afield, they recently created a storm at SXSW before returning to play two hotly-tipped shows at The Great Escape Festival and then more recently they played Citadel.

When Picture This recently announced their tour, they sold 35,000 tickets in the first day in Ireland. They made history in Europe, selling 8,000 tickets for a five-night stand in Dublin and became “the first act since REM to sell out 5 nights at The Olympia in one day.” They are they only band to sell out 2 nights at the 3Arena in Dublin before releasing their debut album. Every date of the tour sold out as fans sang along to every word.

They will be supporting Niall Horan at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 31st. They have also just announced their own headline date at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 7th November.
