World number 1 trance music producer and DJ, Armin van Buuren, is known for playing progressive and uplifting trance.
He has won a number of accolades, including DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs fan poll a record 5 times, including an unprecedented four consecutive years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and again in 2012.
Since 2001, van Buuren has hosted a weekly radio show called A State of Trance, which has 20 million weekly listeners in 26 countries. This radio show has propelled him to superstardom and garnered an intense following of trance fans around the world.
Music-News.com caught up with Armin van Buuren after he joined with Philips in Berlin to unveil the new collaborative venture the M1X-DJ sound system.
Industry innovator, van Buuren launched the revolutionary product for both DJs and music fans in front of a specially invited audience of journalists and industry professionals
To celebrate the announcement of the partnership, he also performed a secret gig on September 5th in a disused Berlin subway, where he recorded his legendary A State of Trance (ASOT.com) show.
