A*M*E graced the stage in style at London’s upscale fashion event last week. High street retailer Warehouse put together a fun-filled fashion event last night at The Yard, based in the heart of London, and they couldn't have picked anyone better to perform than the south London pop sensation.

The 18-year-old singer who wore a fitted black ensemble teamed with platform heeled ankle boots, didn't fail to entertain the fashion-forward crowd, as she gave us an excitable execution of ‘Play The Game Boy.’ Her seductive lyrics were enough to entice all of the fella’s in the room!

A*M*E, discovered by Take That frontman Gary Barlow and signed to Epic Records, then gave us a hot performance of her chart-topping collaboration with Duke Dumont, 'Need You (100%)' with a huge explosion of neon lights and gorgeous vocals. A*M*E, real name Aminata Kabba later slowed it down a little with her sentimental track titled ‘Hear Me Out’, which was her chance to really flaunt her smooth vocals and her riffs and harmonies were almost faultless.

Sierra Leonean-born A*M*E continues to break boundaries as she doesn't follow the conventional path of her contemporaries. She breaks away from the cliché of being labelled under the genre of soul or RnB or rap just because of her ethnicity. She stamps her feet and masters her 90’s fused electro-pop sound and it is plain and simple... she masters it!

The night was topped off by a heated set from none other than BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ, B. Traits. Dishing out some much-loved, old-school dance and hip-hop tracks, she ensured there was strictly no sitting down!

This was an evening which unveiled fashionista’s from all corners of London and also highlighted the true musical talent of one of our dearest British femmes.
