LAC, who have recently been snapped up by Warner Chappell, are set to release Borstal Boy ahead of the anticipated E.P release on 28th April. Borstal Boy offers a wonderful flavour of emotion with (Michael) Davies vocals being at the forefront. Davies bellows masterfully whilst the acoustic guitar whistles in the background delightfully. The frontman even shows a hint of cockney in parts!

In truth, Borstal Boy is a tale from frontman Michael Davies, which is sung from the heart, as it should be when it is your own tragic experience...

Its very rare that you hear such poetry in a song, especially a song that is the debut from an unknown band. If LAC carry on in this manner, they could go down in history as one of the greats (in terms of songwriters) and hopefully bypass the commercial mumbo jumbo!
