Maverick Sabre was already dubbed ‘one to watch’ in 2011 and now with his gold-selling debut album ‘Lonely Are The Brave’ propelling him into mainstream consciousness he is riding the crest of a wave.

Possessing a gritty yet soulful voice, the London born, Irish raised singer puts a modern twist on a vintage sound resonating with audiences and prompting BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens to call him the “male Amy Winehouse".

Only just turned 22, this young rising star continues to generate a huge buzz to which recent sold-out shows at Koko and The Roundhouse are testament.

As well as writing material with the hottest producers Maverick strides from strength to strength having toured alongside Plan B, Cee Lo Green, Snoop Dogg and The Script as well as collaborators Chase & Status.

Music-News.com were lucky enough to grab an exclusive interview with the R&B/Soul singer prior to him entertaining guests at a free performance at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London at the launch of R Life LIVE which provides hotel guests and local patrons the chance to discover and engage with musical talent on-site at Renaissance Hotels around the world.
