This is an interesting single from Andy Burrows. It’s the result of studio time with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt for a project, that’s still unfinished. Anyway, he liked it so much he’s took if for himself and easy to see why.

Based on a simple, ambulating acoustic guitar groove, and basic rhythm, it progresses with the sly introduction of keyboards until midway we are hit with a patented metal guitar solo, courtesy of We Are Scientists Keith Murray. It doesn’t sound out place, and curiously the song takes on a darker hue afterwards, which is more noticeable in the instrumental version.

Hard to tell if this will chart; the pork-pie hat and beard brigade will probably take to it and it's pleasant taster for the forthcoming album.
