Fabio Lendrum - Interview - Printable version
Co-writer of Example's top ten hit ‘Won’t Go Quietly’ Fabio Lendrum has released his very own EP. Fabio signed to Warner when he was a teenager and now a few years on after stints as the DJ-in-residence at Koko and DJ sets at festivals like Bestival, the time has come to put his own stamp on the industry. He is currently managed by Chase & Status, Sub Focus and Pendulum's management - no mean feat for someone so youthful.

Meeting Fabio in the flesh, he has a young face with wise eyes. Having nearly left the industry at the beginning of the year, he is back on track and keeping a positive outlook on the months ahead. In his own words “On the outside, I’m a very happy, positive person, but on the inside I’m a bit of a dark horse”. Sessions in Los Angeles with Dallas Austin (TLC, will.i.am) and Kool Kojak (Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida) have got his work back on track.

Fabio’s music has been described as a "seamless hybrid of dance-orientated sounds with melodic sensibility" which can definitely be seen in ‘Out the Water’, the new EP. I met up with a very reflective Fabio to talk about the new EP and his new girlfriend made out of steel and glass. Click below to listen to the interview in full.
