Tony Christie is a true gentleman who after 50 years in the business finds himself at the peak of his powers, and on the verge of commencing a 50 date tour. The good news is that he will be coming somewhere near you, all tour dates at the foot of this article.
The British crooner will kick off the tour with a 50th Anniversary Celebratory Concert returning to the venue that witnessed his very first live performance 50 years ago, the Ivanhoe Working Men’s Club, on 16th March 2011. The Proceeds of which will be split between Teenage Cancer Trust and St Peter’s Church, Conisbrough.
Music-News.com met up with Tony at the Groucho Club, Dean Street, (01.03.11) where he was clearly a familiar and welcome face, to find out more.
