Infants - Friends Paste - Printable version
Hailing from London but sounding like they could have arrived from any given galaxy, Infants penetrate the senses with a full on assault taking no prisoners along the way. Friends Paste is the collective title for two tracks, Firetruk Theme and Information. Both are frenetic, industrial punk, with fat stuttering skin beats, stabbing fuzzy guitars and screaming vocals designed to scare puppies and small children. However, lurking not too far below the hardcore mayhem is a driving hypnotic rhythm, especially in Firetruk, that aims toward mosh classic status.

With their obvious punk attitude and jungle-like break beats, they could be termed 'junk' - but i'm not suggesting you throw it in the bin, far from it! If you like to go a tad bananas at gigs, Infants will give you plenty of opportunity.
