The Hot Puppies

This re-release of the Puppies’ debut single reminds us once again how fantastic this Cardiff quintet really are. With Becki Newman’s vocals once again sounding a bit like Blondie fused with Siouxsie Sioux to keep things a bit darker and interesting, 'Terry’ is a great track.

The impressively vast instrumental talent undertaken by Beth Gibson supports Newman tidily, with the song picking up pace during the bridge to keep things fresh and foxy. Love it.
