The Hot Puppies - The Girl Who Was Too Beautiful - Email this single review Printable version
This eagerly anticipated new single is apparently inspired by problem page queen/TV presenter Mariella Frostrup and Hichcocks film 'Vertigo'. Which in itself is quite bizarre but this lot have been going down an absolute storm on their recent tour supporting The Crimea. Fronted by Becki Newman who sounds uncannily like Gwen Stefani circa Tragic Kingdom era, The Hot Puppies are defiantly ones to watch out for. While most other acts are churning out mediocre, nondescript pap, The Hot Puppies are not afraid to be different, which is definitely to their credit. This single is a sparkly gem which you all need to hear!
