Following three sold out London dates, including The Scala and James Bay tour support, Walking on Cars now announce an Electric Ballroom headline show on Friday October 23.

The Irish five-piece are also set to top the hottest new talent at all the major festivals across the summer includ-ing The Great Escape, Dot To Dot, Reading and Leeds and T in the Park.

Their new single Catch Me If You Can, set for release in July has already been receiving solid support from Radio 1 with Annie Mac making it her ‘Hottest Record’, Huw Stephens, Greg James and Fearne Cotton all getting on board.

Hailing from the remote Irish coastal town of Dingle, Walking On Cars have garnered a huge live following in their native Ireland, having sold out the infamous Olympia Theatre, the very stage that helped launch Snow Patrol and Blur. The five-piece create anthemic balladry combined with booming guitar riffs and sing-a-ling melodies. Having been tipped as an NME Buzzband, with praise from the Independent and Line of Best Fit, the Irish rockers are set to make their mark on the UK this year.

Catch Me If You Can is out in July via Virgin Records.
