Liverpool superclub Cream have announced the return of the indomitable force of Sasha & John Digweed in the infamous main room. This very special event will see these two house music legends performing back to back for the first time at Cream in nearly a decade. Warming up for the Legendary duo is rising star Jemmy, one of the UK’s finest emerging talents. Music News grabbed a few minutes of his time as he prepared for the big night...

Hi Jemmy, How's Things?
>Yeah I'm good man, thanks

Warming up for Sasha and Digweed at Cream does it get any better than that?
>Not really, as much for nostalgic reasons as anything else. Sasha and Digweed were the two dj's/pioneers who got me thinking more about music and how you could program a whole set as appose to just playing records, and cream was the club where it all started for me, week in week out. So if you combine the two it becomes something only dreams are made of I suppose.

How do you prepare for setting the mood for two legends?
>Just a nice electronic house groove, leaving them loads of room for manoeuvre. In order for whole night to build musically and not just individual sets.

Have you played the legendary Cream soundsystem before?
>This is the first time believe it or not, that’s one of the things which excites me most. It's much easier to express yourself as a dj in these kind of surroundings and with an amazing soundsystem.

What can we expect from you on the night?
>Basically just doing what I do best, building a groove and energy, so that people walk away from the night saying it was a top party, one that can never be forgotten.

Working at 3beat you must get first shout on some some big records, will there be any exclusives for the night?
>Lots, I’m already pestering producers/labels and friends of mine for tasty new bits before they reach promo stage.

Playing to such a big crowd in your home town, would it be fair to say this one of your biggest gigs ever?
>It’s definitely the most special. Even though i’ve warmed up for the two in the past, nothing could ever really compare to this.

What have you got planned for the rest of the year?
>I’ve got lots of top gigs lineup including; Basics, Aztec, Ibiza etc, but my main aim for this year is making music as well as launching the label with Adam at the back end of October.

Biggest track of the moment?
Tony Lionni - Sundance
